Don't worry, these are only primary eligibility requirements for student loans and do not involve the status of your credit. If you will be applying for education loans with a co-borrower, your co-borrower must also meet the following requirements.

	Be a United States citizen or permanent resident alien having resided in the U.S. for the previous two years
	Show proof of income
	Have two years of employment history
	If self employed, have been in business for at least two years
